iRULE FASHiON KiDS DONATiON (iFKD2024)

The iRULE FASHiON KiDS DONATiON (iFKD) is a non-profit charitable initiative by iRULE FASHiON, a fashion division of iRULE BUSiNESS, which is a registered business organisation with major interest in fashion, music and charity.

The main aim of iFKD is to support the nutritional, medical and educational welfare of underprivileged children every year. iFKD’s annual donation projects are funded with a portion of profits made from the sale of iRULE FASHiON merchandise in a year as well as funds from generous donors who love giving to the needy.

On 28/12/24, the iFKD team visited the Children’s Cancer Ward at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (KBTH-PICU) to commence the 5th annual donation.

After interactions with Madam Peace, the nurse in-charge of KBTH’s PICU, all 16 admitted children at the cancer unit were given Edupacks - a file containing writing materials.

The iFKD team had an amount of GHC 1,000 to donate to two children whose parents earnestly need financial support for the continuity of their children’s medical care. Madam Peace presented two mothers and each one of them received an amount of GHC 500 to support their child’s medical bills.

From the hospital, the iFKD TEAM headed to the streets and gave out fifty (50) packs of friedrice and water to the street children around the Central Mosque at Abossey Okai, Kaneshie, to support their nutritional welfare.

EXPENDITURE

For the 5th annual donation, a total amount of GHC 3,178 was raised and below are breakdowns of how the funds were used.

24 Edupacks = GHC 410

Medical Bills = GHC 1,000

Transport fares = GHC 110

Food for the kids = GHC 1,000

Food & drinks for the team = GHC 248

3 packs of bottled water for the kids = GHC 75

A sum total of GHC 2,843 was used. We currently have 8 pieces of Edupacks and an amount of GHC 335 left. The remaining resources will used during iFKD2025.

NEXT ANNUAL DONATION

Moving forward, iFKD will conduct two annual donations. Specifically, in June and December. This is so because in June, schools will be in session and we will use that opportunity to make donations to underprivileged kids in schools.

In December, we will conduct our usual donation to kids on the street as well those at the hospital. We are currently raising funds towards our 6th annual donation which will take place on 28th June, 2025.
